Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie Ingredients Needed
Making smoothies at home doesn’t need to be an overwhelming task. Just throw it all in the blender and blend it up! Here is what you will need for this Strawberry Banana Smoothie recipe:
- Strawberries
- Lemonade (this is my go-to!)
- Banana
- Ice
Simple ingredients blended together to make a smoothie that is bright and refreshing. What more could you ask for?
For me, a good blender goes a long ways. Otherwise, you will end up battling the blender, struggling with air pockets and chunky smoothies. I’ve had my Vitamix blender for YEARS (10 to be exact) and it still works like a charm. Definitely an investment but worth it if you ask me!


Fresh Strawberries vs. Frozen Strawberries
If the fresh strawberries aren’t looking too hot or if you only have frozen on hand, that’s totally ok too! To use frozen strawberries, make this small modification: cut the ice from the recipe! Since, obviously, the strawberries are frozen, they will not only add the wonderful strawberry flavor, but the cold aspect as well!
Using frozen strawberries vs. fresh strawberries might also require a tad bit more lemonade (liquid) as the frozen strawberries can cause it to be thicker. Just add in a couple more splashes of lemonade until desired consistency is achieved!

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, roughly chopped
- 1 banana
- 1 cup lemonade
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients together in a blender and blend on medium speed until smooth. Enjoy!
Notes
- If using frozen strawberries, omit the ice and additional lemonade may need to be used to get desired consistency.
