Description

Each slice of Spiced Apple Butter Bread is loaded with fall flavor. Serve this soft bread warm from the oven with a smear of extra apple butter—the perfect balance of warm spice and sweet apple in every bite.

Spiced apple butter bread comes together in one bowl. It’s an easy recipe for breakfast, brunch, or a snack, and you can even serve it as a dessert!

When this bread is baking in your oven, your whole house will smell like warm spices and apples. Once it’s out of the oven, make sure to grab a slice when it’s still warm. Spread it with extra apple butter or regular, softened butter for the perfect Fall treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, melted
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, apple butter, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and mix until completely combined and a batter has formed.
  2. Spray and line a standard bread loaf pan with cooking spray and parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until golden brown on the top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
  3. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before turning it out onto a cooling rack to cool completely. You can serve the bread warm, or let it cool completely before storing it in an air-tight container. I recommend storing cooled slices in their own individual plastic baggies for an easy grab-and-go breakfast option. Enjoy!
