Description

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is a simple yet delicious pulled pork recipe! Rubbed with a homemade spice blend, the pork butt is cooked low and slow until fall-apart tender. Perfect for pulled pork sandwiches and more!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pound boneless pork shoulder butt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin and salt. Remove the cooking twine from the pork butt and place into the bottom of a slow cooker. Generously cover and rub the spice mix into the pork butt.
  2. Cover with a lid and cook on high 6 hours or low for 8 hours. Shred and pull the pork butt into pieces, toss in the juices and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If using a bone-in pork shoulder butt, cook for 6 hours on high.
  • Use the pulled pork for pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, burritos, chilis and more!
