Last Friday was such a blast with fun people, food and good drinks. Invites were sent out (the old fashioned way of course), food was prepped, scents were displayed and laughter was heard. It was so much fun to throw a Scentsy Sip N Sniff for a friend and co worker of mine. She got me addicted to Scentsy this past spring, and let me tell you, it’s amazing! I was a die hard candle fan ( and I still have my favorite candles that I can’t give up) but Scentsy has not only saved me a ton of money, but has lasted me a whole lot longer. I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about an open flame, and if I fall asleep with it turned on it doesn’t turn into a fire hazard that will burn down the house ?. Although, I am still a sucker for the light that a candle gives off, so I got a Scentsy that gives off the most light as possible.

You can see how much light it gives off during the day, and I love it at night because it shoots light all the way up our vaulted ceilings in our living room. Makes it nice and cozy. Some of my favorite scents are:
- Skinny Dippin’
- Coconut Lemongrass
- Vanilla
- Yuzu Dragon (discontinued)
- Kahiko Hula (discontinued)
But back to the party, it was a great night with great people and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I couldn’t have done it without the help of my amazing mom who came over and helped me prep and cook. Working next to her in the kitchen is a blessing in its own.
Here was our menu for the night:
- Cranberry & Orange Infused Water
- Caramel Apple Sangria
- Wine
- Harvest Roasted Chicken with Rosemary, Grapes and Olives
- Caramelized Brussel Sprouts
- Brown Rice and Mushroom Gratin
- Buttery Garlic Baguettes
- Gooey Cinnamon Squares
- Dark Chocolate Salted Caramels
I really wanted the whole menu and decor to be fall and homey since it was an October shindig. It was also the first large party that we’ve had at our house since getting all the remodeling done! I, of course, took pictures mostly of the food, but it was definitely a night filled with amazing people.
Keep your eyes open for the recipes of this night coming soon!
