Simple Smoked Pulled Pork is a classic smoker recipe to have up your sleeve! This pulled pork recipe is every bit of succulent, smoky and lip-smacking good. A Boston Butt Pork Roast is coated in a homemade seasoning rub and smoked until the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender. A simple recipe that delivers all the flavor!
If you are new to using a smoker, or have never smoked a pork butt before, this is the recipe for you! Simple Smoked Pulled Pork only requires a little bit of your attention, other than that, it just needs to sit low and slow on the smoker without being disturbed. How great is that? Something so succulent that doesn’t require you to wait on it hand and foot. I’ll take it!
Creating your own homemade rub for this recipe is so worth it. All you need is a handful of ingredients: brown sugar, paprika, onion powder and seasoned salt. Toss it all together and you are set to go! Then you just have to rub-a-dub-dub it all over the pork butt. But, I’m also all-for using a pre-made rub if you have a favorite. Simplicity is key!
This Simple Smoked Pulled Pork recipe can be used in so many ways. Breakfast (top it on these honey cornbread waffles and throw on a fried egg!) lunch, dinner or for entertaining. You can easily turn them into pulled pork sandwiches with your favorite bbq sauce, or keep it as-is for eating, topping or serving.
Last, but not least, it is the perfect recipe for serving a crowd! Or, you can smoke up a batch to have leftovers for a couple days. Either way, you are bound to love it!
