Description

Pumpkin Butter is a dreamy pumpkin spice spread loaded full of Fall flavor! Pumpkin pureé simmered with maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and warm spices for a decadent butter. Spread across toast, swirl into drinks or fold into baked goodies for the ultimate pumpkin spice flavor!


Ingredients

Scale
  • (2) 15 oz cans pumpkin pureé
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients together in a medium-sized sauce pan and stir to combine. Bring to a low simmer/bubble over medium heat and then reduce the heat to low.
  2. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving or using. Can be refrigerated in an air-tight container for up to 30 days in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • To use a slow cooker, combine all of the ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on low for a couple hours. Uncover and cook on low for another 30 minutes or slow to allow to thicken if needed.
