Pumpkin Butter is a dreamy pumpkin spice spread loaded full of Fall flavor! Pumpkin pureé simmered with maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and warm spices for a decadent butter. Spread across toast, swirl into drinks or fold into baked goodies for the ultimate pumpkin spice flavor!

What is Pumpkin Butter?

First off, you may be asking yourself, what exactly is pumpkin butter? Similar to apple butter, it’s a decadent spread loaded full of condensed pumpkin spice flavor!

“Butter” makes sense to me as it’s used to be spread across toast, baked into desserts or breads or swirled into drinks. Just like real butter, it’s decadent and adds delicious flavor!

When it comes down to it, Pumpkin Butter is pumpkin pureé cooked down with sweetness and spices to make a condensed pumpkin spice spread. Easy peasy and oh-so delicious!

How to Use

After simmering a batch of this Pumpkin Butter on your stovetop, you may be wondering on how to use it! Well, spread across some cinnamon toast is a good place to start! Here are some other ideas on how to use Pumpkin Butter:

  • Make the ultimate pumpkin spice latte! Swirl a tablespoon or two into your coffee with desired milk/creamer. A frother will take it to the next level!
  • Fold into baked goods – cinnamon rolls, pumpkin bread or cookies!
  • Whisk into custards – like for the coating for this Pumpkin Spice French Toast!
  • Homemade gift option – how cute would that be?!

All in all, the possibilities are endless! Plus, you can’t go wrong with the amazing smells that fill your kitchen while making this Pumpkin Butter. No candles needed here!

Making this Pumpkin Butter is good for the soul. It fills the house with so much warmth. Not only that, it lasts for about a month in the refrigerator! Pull it out whenever you need a pumpkin spice fix. Elevate your breakfast toast, coffee, dessert or mid-day snacks with pure pumpkin goodness. Silky smooth and decadently delicious. What are you waiting for?
