Marinara sauce

Use your favorite marinara sauce for this pizza dip recipe. 

Cheeses

We’ll use a combination of cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. Go full-fat here (don’t you dare skimp!). 

Dried herbs

A combination of thyme and parsley gets folded into the cream cheese for extra flavor.

Garlic

Garlic helps bring the cream cheese to life. 

Pepperoni slices

Grab your favorite pepperoni slices for this recipe. Want something a little extra special? Get them freshly sliced from the deli counter!

How to Make Pizza Dip

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. 

Mix the cream cheese, dried herbs, and garlic in a small bowl until combined. 

Pour the marinara sauce into a 3 /12 quart baking dish or 12-inch skillet. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the top. Evenly arrange the pepperoni slices over the top and then sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese. 

Bake until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese with the garlic, thyme and parsley until smooth and combined.
  2. Pour the marinara sauce into the bottom of a 3 1/2 quart baking dish or 12-inch skillet. Evenly dollop the prepared cream cheese mixture on top of the marinara sauce. Next, layer on the pepperoni slices, saving a few to decorate the top with at the end.
  3. Evenly spread the shredded cheese over the top, top with the additional pepperoni slices and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Serve immediately with garlic bread/crostini, breadsticks or baguette slices. Enjoy!
