Description

Peach Blueberry Crumble is a scrumptious fruit dessert! Loaded full of fresh, juicy peaches, sweet blueberries and a streusel, crumble topping. Serve warm and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the best Peach Blueberry Crumble experience!


Ingredients

For the fruit filling:

  • 4 peaches, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

For the crumble topping:

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

For the fruit filling:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine the peaches, blueberries, sugar, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together in a bowl. Gently tossing together to coat. Pour into desired baking dish, such as a 9×13 baking pan or a 3 1/2 quart baking round.

For the crumble topping:

  1. In small bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, baking soda, sugar and almond extract. Stir together until crumbly.
  2. Evenly top the prepared fruit filling with the crumble. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly and slightly caramelized.
  3. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Notes

  • The peaches can be peeled or un-peeled depending on preference.
  • Fresh or frozen fruit can both be used. If using frozen, the cooking time will need to be adjusted as it will take a bit longer.
