How to Make Whipped Coffee

Making whipped coffee may seem like it’s a fancy ordeal (it sure looks that way!), but all you need is a few simple ingredients. Combine the espresso powder, hot water and sugar together in a bowl and whisk it until light and fluffy – you can use either a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment to do this. The whipped coffee will almost take on the consistency of whipped cream – it’s so fun! Spoon the whipped coffee over the glass of iced coconut milk, grab a straw and you are set to go!

What Espresso Powder and Coconut Milk I Recommend

When shopping for espresso powder and coconut milk, you may be wondering which ones to get. So, I’m sharing my favorites with you! Granted, you can always get whichever products you wish, but I love the whole, rounded flavors the below products give:

  • Espresso Powder
  • Coconut Milk – I recommend getting the refrigerated kind as it holds up nicely and is easily drinkable versus the canned option.

If you can imagine floating on clouds of fluffy coffee dreams, then that is exactly what this whipped coffee drink is! The addition of coconut milk really brings it home – it’s refreshing, flavorful and vibrant. Stir it all together or keep them pretty and separated, either way, it will be gone before you know it!

How great would it be to start your morning off with one of these Iced Coconut Whipped Coffee’s?! Give me one of these iced coffees and an almond glazed cinnamon roll and I’ll be happy, happy, happy.

PS: I’m a huge fan of the iced coconut milk caramel macchiato from Starbucks and this Iced Coconut Whipped Coffee won for me… this is a BIG deal!

Description

Iced Coconut Whipped Coffee is worth all the hype! Espresso powder, hot water and sugar are whipped together until completely light and fluffy – you’ve never had coffee like this before! Pour some coconut milk over a glass of ice, top with the whipped coffee and get ready for an iced coffee dream!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 3 cups coconut milk
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine the espresso powder, sugar and hot water and whisk on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5-8 minutes. You want to have stiff peaks form.
  2. Divide the coconut milk between two glasses with ice. Evenly spoon the whipped coffee over the iced coconut milk. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerated coconut milk is highly recommended versus the canned coconut milk as it is more enjoyable to drink.
  • The whipped coffee will hold it’s form, so it can be made in advance and refrigerated! I put my second serving in a Yeti glass in the refrigerator and was ready to go the next day!
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
