Ingredients Needed For Garlic Herb Grilled Corn

With bright Summer produce comes scrumptious sweet corn! Since it’s in such abundance during these warmer months, a quick and delicious way to cook the sweet corn is needed. A few simple ingredients and a little bit of time are all you need to bring this recipe to life:

How to Grill Corn

Grilling corn doesn’t need to be a daunting task. In fact, it does best when it’s placed on the grill and left alone while your brats, steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs or whatever main course is cooking away. It can be placed on the sides of the grill grates, on the top rack or front and center.

Either way, these little, foil-wrapped corn on the cobs will steam inside their little packets and get a slight char from the grill grates.

Simply place the prepared corn on the grill, turn it once halfway through the cooking point and let the grill do all the work!

Garlic Herb Grilled Corn makes the perfect side dish for hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, steaks, pork chops, chicken or anything you can think of! A summertime staple.

Description

Garlic Herb Grilled Corn is sweet, smoky, buttery and loaded full of flavor! Fresh corn on the cob is lathered in a garlic herb butter, wrapped in foil and grilled to perfection. A simple, delicious side dish for all of your Summer grill outs and bbq’s!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ears fresh sweet corn, husked
  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat. In a small bowl, combine the butter, parsley, thyme, chives, salt and garlic until smooth.
  2. Evenly coat each ear of corn with the garlic herb butter and then wrap each one tightly in foil. Use about a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of foil for each ear of corn.
  3. Grill the prepared corn for 15 minutes, rotate/flip and grill for another 10-15 minutes or until the corn is cooked through. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If the corn is placed on the side grates of the grill or the top rack, it may need more cooking time as those areas are not as hot and direct as the main grate of the grill. This is a great option to cook your side dish while your other items cook away!
