Let’s just get the obvious out there … I am addicted. It’s love. The farmer’s market is just packed with so many different things, trinkets, food and produce that how could I not love it? It has become a tradition for John and I to go every Saturday morning that I don’t have to work. It’s such a great little date and escape for us. Whenever you arrive, the whole market is buzzing with energy and life.
Of course, you gotta get coffee first, right? Right. Mandatory.
Like I was saying, walking around through the different stands you can’t help but get giddy and full of real life Pinterest ideas that you just can’t help yourself. Why did I not think to make a door sign like that? Why yes, yes I will take one. The buckets and tabletops overflowing with seasonal flowers, plants and succulents are always a go to for me. John always knows how much I love to get a little bouquet, so he will lovingly stand there holding my coffee and his kolaches (which is the primary item he came for) while I get to get to hand pick my favorite assortment.

Love my red-bearded hubby and the little things he does for me. It is always such a treat to get to spend the morning strolling around together hand in hand, while picking out fresh produce or getting a sample of that delicious beef jerky. The atmosphere is inviting and thriving. You have the live music filling up all the empty spaces and resonating across the whole market. Also, you can’t forget the amazing aroma of the freshly popped kettle corn wafing towards you and making your stomach rumble. Don’t get me started on when pumpkins and sunflowers come into season – love it! You gotta check out the pictures below and how much of a trooper John is with carrying all of our finds back to the truck. Rain or shine, we love it and it is one of our most favorite dates to do with each other. It’s always sad when the weather turns and the market ends for the winter, but we’re waiting for ya spring. We’ll be there!
