Crispy Bacon Green Beans is a side dish that is going to be hard to keep passing around the table! Fresh green beans are quickly sautéd in bacon grease (yep!) and then topped with crispy bacon pieces. A mixture between healthy and indulgent- the perfect combination to keep you going back for more!
Adding these green beans to your table will add a vibrant touch. Quickly cooking the green beans in the bacon grease allows them to stay crispy and bright while taking on the perfect saltiness from the bacon. Topping them with the bacon pieces puts them over the top. You’ll have to try to not pick the bacon pieces off the top! Well, at least I had to try.
Crispy Bacon Green Beans will be a side dish that is requested time and time again.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 24 oz fresh green beans
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
Instructions
- Place the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté until the bacon pieces are crispy, about 5-10 minutes. Transfer the cooked bacon pieces to a plate lined with a paper towel. Remove some of the bacon grease to leave only a couple tablespoons in the bottom of the skillet.
- Add the green beans into the skillet and sauté for several minutes. Add in the chopped garlic and toss to coat. Cook for a few minutes more, or until the green beans are slightly caramelized and cooked through. Serve topped with the crispy bacon pieces.
