Description

Cheeseburger Bowls are a fun way to eat a classic cheeseburger! Ground beef is simmered with ketchup and mustard to give it the iconic cheeseburger flavors. Then, it’s time for the fun part! Layer together your Cheeseburger Bowl with your favorite toppings, french fries and more to create a deconstructed cheeseburger for a fun and delicious dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard

Topping ideas:

  • Shredded cheese
  • Pickles
  • Tomatoes
  • Diced onion
  • Lettuce
  • French fries
  • Onion rings
  • Tater tots
  • Sauce ideas: ranch dressing, honey mustard dressing, ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq sauce, Chick-fil-a sauce or sriracha mayo!

Instructions

  1. Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium heat to brown, breaking it up as you go, about 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Add in the ketchup and mustard and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and allow to simmer for a couple minutes to combine the flavors.
  3. Assemble your cheeseburger bowls! Spoon on your desired toppings, drizzle on your desired sauce and dig in!

Notes

  • If using a leaner beef such as 90/10, a tablespoon of olive oil may need to be used to coat the pan prior to the beef going in to be browned.
