Caramel Apple Sangria

Caramel Apple Sangria is a fun, festive cocktail loaded full of Fall flavor! Spiced apple cider, velvety caramel vodka and vibrant apple slices swirl together to make a drink that goes down smooth. It’s all the wonderful flavors of a caramel apple in a glass without the caramel sticking to your teeth!

I originally posted this recipe in 2016 on KJ & Company and it has been so loved that new pictures were necessary. Caramel Apple Sangria is one of the most highly requested cocktails to date for any fall gathering that we go to. It’s just so fun, festive and full of fall flavor that you just can’t resist! Not only is this sangria all sorts of delicious, but it’s vibrant colors and festive smell will have you ready to snuggle up in a blanket next to a fire while you watch the leaves drop outside. This sangria is perfect for football parties, fall dinners, campfires, Halloween parties and even Thanksgiving. It’s basically the cocktail to carry you through the fall season and holidays!

Sangria Ingredients

First things first, this sangria is SNEAKY GOOD, so drink responsibly! 😉 Only a handful of ingredients are needed to bring this sangria to life:

  • Riesling Wine – use your favorite brand or bottle here! Since it is the base of the sangria, choose a bottle that you’ll enjoy. Moscato can also be used.
  • Apple Cider – the main apple flavor component! Go for the good apple cider that needs to be refrigerated after opening – the kind that isn’t see-through. Heading to the apple orchard? Grab a jug of apple cider too!
  • Caramel Vodka – where allllll the velvety smooth caramel flavor comes from. It even smells like a freshly opened caramel!
  • Fresh Apple Slices – grab a couple bright green Granny Smith apples and perfectly red Gala apples. Thinly slice and toss them right on in.

From the smooth sweetness from the caramel, to the fruity kick from the apples, to the warm coating at the back of your throat from the cinnamon, this sangria the perfect concoction!

Whip up a batch for a football party, holiday party or for the perfect apple cocktail after a day at the orchard. How much better can it get? This is the perfect, easy, fun and festive cocktail to have up your sleeve this fall and holiday season to please a crowd. Twist up your fall menu or bring some fun in a glass to Thanksgiving. Either way, you won’t be disappointed!
