To be honest, buffalo isn’t normally a flavor I choose, BUT these Buffalo Turkey Burgers have won my heart! They are the perfect combination of buffalo sauce (I like a mild buffalo sauce) and a cool, creamy bleu cheese spread. Simply irresistible! We loved re-heating our leftovers for the next night too!

When it comes to choosing your toppings for these Buffalo Turkey Burgers, I like to keep it simple! From the melty cheese, buffalo sauce and the bleu cheese spread, these are already packed full of flavor! Here’s what I like:
- Toasted brioche bun (buttered even better)
- Butter lettuce
- Bleu cheese spread
- Buffalo turkey burger
- Buffalo sauce
Bleu Cheese Spread
Are you a bleu cheese lover like me? Becuase you will definitely LOVE this bleu cheese spread! It made me do a happy dance when I swooshed my turkey burger through the bleu cheese drippings on my plate. It’s such an important part of this dish!
If you aren’t a bleu cheese fan, I would still recommend making this spread and subbing in a light, crumbly cheese that you like. Here’s some bleu cheese substitutes:
- Goat cheese
- Queso fresco
Picking out the right buffalo sauce is vitally important – you gotta have one that you like! For me, I don’t like a buffalo sauce that is overly “vinegary” or has too much bite. Here has been my favorite by far!
Whether you are whipping these up for a weeknight dinner or serving a crowd, they are bound to disappear before your eyes! Plus, they make for a great meal-prep option!
