Black Forest Trifles are everything of a classic black forest cake all wrapped up in a trifle form! All you need are a few simple ingredients to bring this delicious dessert recipe to life. Featuring fudgy brownie pieces, tart cherry pie filling and fluffy whipped cream all layered together to create the perfect spoonful.

  • 2 cups brownie chunks, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Shaved chocolate as garnish

  1. In an 8 oz glass or parfait glass, place 1/2 cup of the brownie pieces in the bottom of the glass, pressing them to the edges. Next, layer with 1/2 cup of cherry pie filling, pressing to the edges. Top with a 1/2 cup dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings.
  2. Repeat this process with the other three glasses until all the ingredients have been used. Enjoy immediately or allow to refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to chill. If making in advance, wait to add on the whipped cream until prior to serving. Enjoy!
