Ingredients Needed for Apple Cider Margaritas

First off, if you have been around here for awhile you know that a cocktail recipe has to be simple in order for me to make it at home. Well, this Apple Cider Margarita definitely fits the bill! All you need are 5 simple ingredients:

  • Apple cider
  • Tequila
  • Apple slices
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

How great is that?! You are only 5 ingredients away from a dreamy, Fall cocktail! Plus, what a great way to use up some of those apples and jugs of apple cider you may have just gotten from the orchard!

How to Serve

Secondly, I love a cocktail that can easily be served a couple different ways. You can either serve it:

  • Individual glasses: each margarita is made per glass.
  • Pitcher style: pour it all in and pass it around!

Depending on the occassion, you really can’t go wrong with either way! How fun would it be to pass a pitcher of these Apple Cider Margaritas around with some Smoky Bacon Queso or 5 Ingredient Guac and chips? The perfect Fall evening!

Cinnamon-Sugar Coated Rims

One of the other things that sets these margaritas apart: cinnamon-sugar coated rims! You’ll want to lick these glasses clean!

Simply run an apple slice around the rim of your glass, and then dunk it and swirl it into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Voilá! The final product is a deliciously coated glass rim.

Tip for keeping the cinnamon-sugar rim: make your drink/pour your drink very carefully into your glass so you don’t dissolve the rim!
