Scale

Ingredients

  • 229 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients into a large pot or Dutch oven over low heat. Cover with a lid and let simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the onion is completely cooked through and soft.
  2. Use a hand blender to blend the soup/sauce until smooth, about a few minutes. If you do not have a hand blender, carefully pour the soup/sauce into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
